Texan electro-pop-rock duo Me Nd Adam unveil their coming of age stories in their new album American Drip, Part I. The 12 track release features instrumentation containing synth melodies that are wonderfully euphoric; the drums are prominent and diverse, giving an exciting constant throughout the album; classic country acoustic guitar, and fierce, face-melting (sometimes even dreamy) electric guitar solos. Throughout the album the dynamics reflect the emotions of each song, often revealing intimate vocals and warming guitar.

'The More I Grow Up' is a standout song on the album. Containing an instrumental hook that almost resembles a bittersweet, vocal cry, the track ends on the lyrics “seems like the more I grow up, the more I get let down” - an honest, raw look on the home truths of growing up. Dotted amongst the songs are humorous subtle sounds and vocal patter that add to the attention to detail within the album.

'Sorry For Wasting All Your Time' has a reborn 80s vibe and uplifting melodic runs. All the lyrics are frank and plain-speaking yet philosophical at times, the upfront truths of the songs are admirable and relatable. The variation and complexity of production in American Drip, Part I is absorbing, compelling and stimulating. Of course the vocals emulate all of the influences and sub genres, as well as a hearty Texan glow which at times is very comforting.

Documenting their blossoming manhood whilst travelling across America, turning their experiences into 12 fiery shots of electro-pop-country-rock stories. The album will get you saddled up to adventure through life, with Me Nd Adam covering themes of drinking, romance, loneliness, life contemplation and their overall experiences of living life whilst trekking across the USA. American Drip, Part I  is the perfect album to dance, cry, drive 80mph and rejoice life to. Their influences combined with their texan heritage, and electronic rockin’ cowboys sound makes Me Nd Adam the love child of Marshmello and Tom Petty.

American Drip, Part I is out now.
