Bless Soft Hearted Scientists. All they want is a world free of shit television and mind-stewing day jobs. Would you hold that against them? Of course you wouldn't. Would you hold it against them that theirs is the most twee of folk-pop that even Donovan might have dismissed as "a bit chirpy"? Well, you might, but probably only then with a pang of guilt. ‘Eyes’ is a short burst of sunshine in an otherwise nocturnal music scene and, while you wouldn't want to stay out in it too long, it's nice to feel the warmth just for a while.
