Emmecosta are an electronic trio from Sweden who craft dreamy electronic soundscapes that will warm the soul as the impending winter sweeps in. Check out 'Snowboy' below.
The band have been described as 'post-club'. While I don't understand entirely what that means, their blend of urban beats and woozy electronics is the perfect soundtrack to rest your weary head against a window to, and contemplate life as raindrops trickle in and out of your periphery.
The members of the band moved to Sweden looking for a spiritual home for their music, somewhere where the art can flourish without marring from homely distractions. What's come of that approach is a beautifully crisp brand of electro-pop, rich in nuanced production and lush instrumentals - the perfect Wednesday afternoon treat for fans of King Krule and The xx.
