Paul McCartney – Dance Tonight

More Info: Not much more can be said about Paul McCartney that hasn’t been discussed already. A Beatles legend and solo star in his own right, McCartney returns with ‘Dance Tonight,’ the first single to be taken off his new album, ‘Memory Almost Full.’ A catchy tune and a cameo appearance from star of The Office, Mackenzie Crook, make this Michel Gondry directed video a must see. |
- Paul McCartney has produced some shallow music over the years but this has to go down as one of the most cynically poor songs ever written, recorded and released. The lyrics could have been written by a six year old and the arrangement is very simple and ’familiar’. It’s dire in every way imaginable. McCartney is fabled in the music industry for his poor lyrics but this really is poor. Embarrassingly poor. It’s so poor it makes you angry. Utter garbage Paul.
- Obviously not a fan then. Actually it was written for a 3 year old! His daughter!
If you bothered to listen to the rest of his new album you would realise what a fantastic talent the man still is. Or then again probably not!!
- Paul McCartney back to his best !
- Hey Rob K-Actually, the simplicty of the song is also its purity of spirit: something any songwriter would tell you is among the hardest things to convey in a composition. You just don’t like Macca.
- Sounds like Nameless (Clueless) failed as a womanizer. In the world of rock stars, not many were married as long as Paul and Linda. They truly loved each other and one can only imagine his pain in losing her. Nameless has no problem showing his immaturity. Vulgar language is used by 12 year olds who are trying to impress someone. Work on yourself, nameless, and maybe someday someone will be impressed. The music of Paul, John, George and Ringo will survive far beyond your time on this planet.
