Luke Sital Singh has announced a new EP, based around covers of famous tracks from influential films.

Unsurprisingly titled the Film Music EP, the seven track record, released exclusively through Spotify, sees Singh take on a multitude of tracks originally by the likes of Bruce Springsteen, Simon & Garfunkel and others.

The hotly-tipped singer, who will release his debut album later this month explained his reasoning behind the EP: "One of the great things about music is its way of enhancing the experiences and emotions we all go through.”

"Basically how great songs soundtrack our lives. What would life be like without soundtracks? Can you imagine your favourite film without that bit with that song? It doesn't bear thinking about.”

It has also been revealed that Sital-Singh will play some special cinema shows to support the release, though more details and specific dates are yet to be announced.
