Ash frontman Tim Wheeler has already enjoyed a celebrated career heading up one of Britain's most beloved bands. But now he returns with a whole new lease of life as a solo artist. Check out the exclusive Gigwise premiere of the video for new single 'Vigil' below. 

A tender and string-laden lament, 'Vigil' allows the true heart and soul of Wheeler's songwriting to shine - telling the story of the loss of his father George to dementia. It's only fitting then, that it should come with such a romantic and cinematic video. 

"It was a really hard time, it was a beautiful time as well, with the closeness of the family. We were glad that we all got to be there and share that time together,” says Wheeler.

Vigil is released on 10 November, the same day ass his debut solo album Lost Domain - available for pre-order now here. All proceeds go to the Alzheimer's Society.
