Kool and the Gang's peerless party starter 'Celebration' is being used in the 50th anniversary campaign against drink driving. Watch the advert below.
The ad sees various emergency services members, firemen and police officers deliver one line each as they go about the grim business of dealing with car accidents that have been caused by drink driving. Created by ad agency AMV BBDO London, the video does end on a positive note - the number of deaths tied to drunk driving has gone from 1,640 a year to just 230 - but it still makes for difficult viewing.

This isn't the first time that classic songs have been used to soundtrack a PSA. Mungo Jerry's jaunty 'In The Summertime' was memorably used in a 1994 campaign, centred around the lyric "Have a drink, have a drive / Go out and see what you can find"
