The “largely autobiographical” film EDEN, detailing the rise of the French electro and house scene and featuring Daft Punk now has a trailer. Check it out below.
Written by DJ Sven Love, one half of Cheers, the film depicts the scene during its 1990s heyday. While it is focused on a variety of characters from the era, it follows a certain Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter rather closely. A pair otherwise known as Daft Punk.

This week the film is set to premiere at Sundance festival, with Daft Punk having signed off on the story and allowing the use of three of their songs for the soundtrack. Love told Tsugi.fr. that “without their consent, the project could not succeed”.
