David LaChapelle has directed a stunning interpretive dance rendition of Hozier's 'Take Me To Church', and it's gone viral. Watch footage below.
The impressive footage captures Ukranian dancer Sergei Polunin stepping away from more traditional forms, instead using his body and movements to draw out the meaning behind the song. Add in some incredible the incredible LaChapelle and you have a subtle use of colour, angles and lighting that help create one hell of a visual.

At the weekend Hozier stormed the Grammy awards in America, performing a duet of 'Take Me To Church' with the walking legend that is Annie Lennox. Despite this the Irish singer songwriter lost out to Sam Smith who won Song Of The Year for 'Stay With Me'.
Either way, it's proven a true breakthrough hit for the Irish soul-folk star.
Speaking to Gigwise about the song, the singer described it as "an indictment of institutions that undermine humanity." As for the visceral, shocking video that accompanies it - that was inspired by the recent Russian smear campaign against homosexuality, which "put it in line with bestiality and paedophilia."
