Mini Mansions have revealed the video for their latest single ,'Freakout!'. Watch it below.
The song is taken from the band's forthcoming second album, The Great Pretenders, which is scheduled for release next month.
The video was directed by Matthew Newman, AKA MountEmult, who also helmed several of the video for Pixies' new material. Playing with textures and pitting photo against video, it sees various images of the band being manipulated with the help of a scalpal by some sort of experimental scientist.
The song itself opens with a squelchy bass riff before Michael Shuman's vocals burst in, with a playful buoyancy that's reflected in the song's lyrics - though there's an undertone of melancholy lurking underneath as well.

Earlier this year, the band were joined onstage by Arctic Monkeys' Alex Turner at London's Lexington, where Turner reprised his verse on the track 'Vertigo'.
