Speaking to Gigwise about the song, the singer described it as "an indictment of institutions that undermine humanity." As for the visceral, shocking video that accompanies it - that was inspired by the recent Russian smear campaign against homosexuality, which "put it in line with bestiality and paedophilia."
One thing he wants to make clear though - he does have some fun songs on his forthcoming debut album; and he hopes fans can forgive him for that. Watch the full interview above.
