It might have been raining cats and dogs in the Peak District, but Y Not Festival was anything but stormy. The wide range of indie, pop and rock acts set the festival ablaze despite the horrendous weather.
Throughout the rain, the event was lit with mesmerising colours. Acts like Two Door Cinema Club brought their bright, neon personalities all the way from Ireland, setting the stage ablaze in varying shades of pink, purple and blue and bands like IDLES got stuck into the torrential weather with frontman Joe talbot rocking the festival staple plastic poncho.
Elsewhere on site, the tents were instrumental in getting the acts up-close-and-personal with the audience - just watch Kate Nash having a ball in the midst of fans.
Well-rehearsed acts like Franz Ferdinand and Wolf Alice energised the audience with their electrifying stage presence with Alex Kapranos bouncing around and Ellie Roswell letting her ethereal voice wash over the audience.
