60s - Rubber Soul - Beatles
70s - Pink Floyd - The Wall
80s - The Stone Roses debut
90s - Generation Terrorists - Manics
00s - The Charlatans - Up At The Lake
Present - Ripples - Ian Brown
What inspired you to start a band?
I wanted to be taken a lot more seriously if I had a band behind me I want to get a lot more gigs and tours under my belt.
What's your favourite part of performing live?
The chemistry we all have when playing live and we haven’t played in front of a crowd yet so the buzz of the crowd will be special.
Tell us about your latest release.
The EP, particularly the title track, means a lot to me as I’ve grown up on a council estate and seen the harsh realities of it whether it’s lack of funding or all types of crime. It’s showing that wherever you come from you can make it if you put your mind to it.
What do you have coming up?
We have a lot coming up as a band which we can’t say as of yet but it’s all coming into place very well!
