Gallagher-tested, Gallagher-approved, This Feeling have been a mainstay in promoting the latest indie bands from around the UK for years. They've tipped, among many others, Catfish and the Bottlemen and Blossoms, helping them reach as many people as possible with their career-firing tours.

In February, they lended us their expertise in the newest of the new in indie, publishing their annual 'Big In' list with us. Today, after 21 columns, you'll find the final Band of the Week, as picked by This Feeling and Scotts.

Who are your favourite This Feeling bands chosen for Big In this year?

For us we all have mixed styles so was really difficult for us to choose, because everyone is ridiculously good and so talented. I think the consensus is between Wharves, The Native, Lucy Gaffney

Favourite album from the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, 00s and recent?

60s - Pet Sounds by Beach Boys, or Sgt. Pepper by The Beatles

70s - Dark Side of the Moon by Pink Floyd, The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust, or Rumours by Fleetwood

80s - The Queen is Dead - The Smiths

90s - anything Radiohead

00s - again... Anything Radiohead

What inspired you to start a band?

Well we were all in separate projects before Talkboy and we all thought the same thing really; "wouldn't it be so cool to start a band". We knew it was such a cliché musician thing to do, starting a band with your best mates, but we're really glad we did... Because it really is great fun!

What's your favourite part of performing live?

Seeing people have fun, to see each other on stage having fun, and of course the rider... No matter how big or small

Tell us about your latest release.

So we released our second EP back in Feb and it's done really nicely, considering we haven't had chance to play it for people, so we're really looking forward to playing them, and just generally figuring out how to play our instruments in time for gigs (kidding.... I think). We're just eager to getting going, get playing and getting into the studio!

What do you have coming up?

An EP is coming very soon with some exciting news around it. I’ll also be back to touring when it’s safe to so again.
