Paul McCartney has announced the first date of his 2015 tour. As Rolling Stone reports, he will be performing at Philadelphia's Wells Fargo Center on June 21. This will be his first Philadelphia concert since 2010.

McCartney will also be making appearances at Firefly Festival in Dover, Delaware on June 19 (the same day that Morrissey, Modest Mouse and Run The Jewels will be performing) and at Lollapalooza Festival on July 31 (alongside the likes of Metallica, Florence + The Machine and Sam Smith).

Tickets for the Wells Fargo Center show will go on sale May 1 at 12pm local time.

Paul McCartney recently topped the Sunday Times Rich List, placing ahead of the likes of U2, Sir Elton John and David Bowie. McCartney, along with his wife Nancy Shevell, has a fortune estimated at £730million, a rise of £20million on last year.

Last week, the former Beatle made an appearance at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame to induct his bandmate Ringo Starr into the museum. "It's about fucking time, man!" he said, after performing with Starr. "That's what my daughter said a few years back. It's great. It's the completion. Now the four of us are in as a band, and as individuals. It would have been a shame if he hadn't been in, right?"
