Janet Jackson will release a new album later this year, according to a recent distributor's release schedule.
Originally thought to be a leaked Atlantic Records schedule, most major music stores are now confirming Jackson has an untitled album available for pre-order and due 7 July.
A journalist at Stereogum reportedly called the Ridgewood FYE music store, who confirmed that if you go to the shop you can pre-order a new album from Janet Jackson, although there’s "no album title, artwork or record label info".

If this news is true, the record will be Jackson's first major album release since 2008's Discipline.
