Demi Levato, the singer of hit single ‘Confident' and the album under the same name, has taken an embarrassing tumble live on stage while performing at the Z100 iHeartRadio Jingle Ball at Madison Square Garden.
The popstar has form for embarrassing moments – in July earlier this year, the singer slipped on a wet stage during a pool party promo appearance for her single 'Cool for the Summer'.
Her latest fall occurred when she tripped over a mic stand at the end of her set. However, thanks to some fortunately-timed camera work, fans watching the live stream didn't see the singer crash down on stage, as cameras had cut away. Nevertheless, viewers must have wondered what was going on when cameras cut back to show the singer on her back.
It must be said that Lovato took her latest fall firmly in her stride, showing an ability to laugh at her own misfortune. "Guys don't you get it by now?" she wrote on Twitter. "Only cool kids fall on stage."
Lovato has had some far smoother times in recent months – she joined Alanis Morrissette on stage for a duet of 'You Oughta Know' and she nailed a cover of Adele's 'Hello'.
