Word to the wise, don't ever try to steal from this man or his family, because he will almost certainly turn into Batman and knock you out.
Moonlighting most days as a guitarist in The Strokes, he recently transformed into a crime-fighting superhero and stopped a would-be pickpocket stealing his wife Justyna's wallet. After turning the criminal to the police, Hammond Jr took to Twitter to explain the situation.

Cornering the thief, and taking back his wife's possessions, Hammond Jr reviewed the footage and would go on to say, "Oh wow, I did get angry, didn't I?"
Meanwhile, setting aside the superhero antics from the guitarist, The Strokes have been busy in the studio, after frontman Julian Casablancas announced to fans at the Washington D.C Landmark Festival new material would be on its way earlier in the year.
