Snoop Dogg has revealed he is a fan of HBO series Game Of Thrones claiming he watches it for 'historical reasons'.
In an interview with the New York Post, the rapper discussed his love for the epic series, which is well known after he contributed his musical talents to the show's official mixtape in March with 'Lannister's Anthem'.
"When they asked me to do the track, I was more than honored because I’m truly a fan of the show. I would have done it for free, but they gave me some money on top of it, so I was like, “Fuck it, let’s do it!”
He went on to say, "I watch it for historic reasons, to try to understand what this world was based on before I got here. I like to know how we got from there, to here, and the similarities between then and now."
Seemingly oblivious to the fact that the series is entirely fictional, he went on to draw parallels between 'then and now': "Kings still rule and a bitch f **ked everything up, in every situation!"
