Slaves have been forced to cancel tonight's Sheffield gig after "an accident involving a kitchen knife", with forthcoming festival appearances also in doubt.
The band, who played three sets at The Great Escape in Brighton last week, were due to appear at Sheffield's Leadmill tonight (19 May).
This afternoon though, they took to social media to cancel the show: "Last night I had an accident involving a kitchen knife and ended up in the hospital. They stitched me up by I can't play the drums for a litte while."
The band recently defended their name against accusations racial insensitivity, insisting, "We are all slaves in this modern age."
Tonight's show has been rescheduled for Wednesday, 24 June, but it's currently unclear whether they'll be fit to play at Liverpool Sound City, Radio 1's Big Weekend or Common People Festival - all of which take place this weekend.
If they don't manage those shows, Slaves still have a number of UK festivals lined up for this summer, including T In The Park, Tramlines and Longitude. They also recently announced a UK November tour, full dates of which are below. Tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday 22 May. For tickets and more information, click here.
