Two fans had the pleasure of a hazy Sunday watching Soccer AM and getting high with Stormzy. The grime rapper tweeted that he was looking for somewhere to smoke the buddha and watch the daytime football programe, and reached out to his fans for help.
After Tweeting, the rapper received numerous responses within the first 10 minutes, but fans Sam Rankin and George McMahon were the lucky respondents of the offer. He sent follow up tweets in Stormzy vernacular, suggesting that he was willing to pop round to anyone’s place and that he was deadly serious. All that mattered for the Londoner is that the person had something to record Soccer AM on and lived in South London.
Aside from getting high with football fans, Stormzy has been having a good week with ‘Shut Up’ climbing up the charts, reaching new heights since its release.
For the two lucky fans, their claim to fame can now be “you know this don, you know me from that time Stormzy smoked weed and watched Soccer AM with me.”
