Coldplay have revealed that they'll be taking fans' song requests every night of their 2016 A Head Full Of Dreams tour. Get tickets and more information below.
The band released their seventh, and possibly final, album earlier this month. Though it was their highest first-week album sales since 2008's Viva la Vida, it was prevented from reaching No.1 in the UK by Adele's 25.
That doesn't matter though - their forthcoming A Head Full Of Dreams tour was still met with massive demand. Now, Chris Martin has revealed that fans will be able to contribute the the setlist.
Speaking to The Sun, Martin said, "What we will do on this tour is almost like a request segment. We'd ask people to give us a reason why they want us to play that song so there is a purpose behind why we play it."
He continued, "I think we want to make it like a passport photobooth, so you go in and say, 'I am Derek, I would like you to play 'The Hardest Part'...' So for example, if we are going to play a song like 'Spies' off 'Parachutes', it will be lovely to play it and say, 'This is for Helen from Bolton as this reminds her of her dad.' That is a bad example and not a real one."
You better get thinking of which obscure B-side you're going to request.
