Live Nation has teamed up with Uber to provide easier festival transportation for punters attending Live Nation events.
The new partnership is expected to kick off this Memorial Day weekend at EDC New York and Sasquatch! Music Festival in Quincy, Washington, Festival Snobs reports.
There are currently 20 different festivals across the country that will be participating in this partnership, which will see designated drop-off and pick-up points outside of each event.
“Fans want the journey to and from a concert to be as smooth as possible”, said Russell Wallach, President of Live Nation Media & Sponsorships. “Uber offers a convenient alternative to driving for riders to any event, and we are thrilled about the experience this brings for all of our fans.”
There will also be an “integration into Live Nation’s mobile app” that will ease the process by providing an automatic address feature so users can quickly book rides without having to enter the festival’s location.
