Fall Out Boy are one among a whole host of artists to feature on new MTV music show Live Lockdown.
The show will feature artists playing 5 songs in an intimate 350 capacity colleseum-style venue. Other artists which are set to feature on the debuting series include Ella Eyre, Ellie Henderson, Jess Glynne and Kwabs.
On the topic of the new format, the show's creative director John Paveley explained to Music Week: “Live Lockdown came about from us wanting to do something which was like old school music TV, quite up close, personal and edgy...like Fight Club meets The Music Show, in a Thunderdome."
“We felt for this first series we were trying to push the boundaries a bit. It feels a bit like a chaotic Top Of The Pops sometimes, so that’s why there’s a mix of artists on there.” Live Lockdown's debut series will include eight half-hour specials with expectations for it becoming a bi-annual series.
