Country icon Kenny Rogers has spoken out in favour of controversial Presidential Candidate, all-round loud mouth and man of baffling net worth Donald Trump - with the 'Lady', 'Ruby' and 'Lucille' star saying that he 'loves what he says'.
Just to clarify, 'what he says' includes banning immigration of all Muslims into the US, that 'more guns' would have prevented the Paris attacks, that “the concept of global warming was created by and for the Chinese in order to make U.S. manufacturing non-competitive", and that Mexican immigrants are "bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists. ... And some, I assume, are good people."
So, here's what Rogers has to say about him...
"I really like him," Rogers told The Guardian. "I think his problem is that he says what everyone wants to hear, but he doesn’t say it well. I love what he says, I have to admit. He can be president and not owe anybody anything; he’s one of the few people has the money to do it, and has the guts to do it. You’re biting off a lot by doing that. He believes everything he says: whether he’s right or not, he says what everybody fears.
"My older sons laugh at me when I tell them that. They are Democrats that live in California – there’s no hope for them. They’ll vote for Hillary no matter what she does. She’s a friend of mine, I’m not trashing her."
Enter Shikari's Rou Reynolds recently spoke out against Trump, telling Gigwise: "It is frightening that he does seem to be building momentum with the far right in America. Here in the UK, you can tell that a lot of it is because of priviledge and you can see through it, but in America there's a lot of stupidity and the far right do live up to that 'stupid Yank' mentality and it is very worrying."
