In an interview with TIME, Adele discussed rumours about working with Beyonce. The ‘Single Ladies’ singer was rumoured to feature on Adele’s immensely successful album, 25.
In the interview, Adele said, "Whoever started that rumour must have been having a laugh because anyone who knows me knows that my main priority in life outside of my child is Beyoncé.”
However, she did admit that she wanted to roll in the deep with an unnamed singer on her latest album, but it never came to fruition. "I really wanted to do a duet on this album,” the ‘Skyfall’ singer said, “I spoke to someone about it who I wanted to do it with, and we got on like a house on fire, and then we just couldn’t logistically really get it to work. I can’t say who it is because I want to do it in the future. That’s the only reason. It wasn’t Beyoncé!"
The British pop queen also revealed that Taylor Swift inspired her to set fire to the reign of streaming services by boycotting streaming her new album.
"I love her - how powerful she is. We’ll get lumped together now because of [the streaming boycott], but I think we would both feel the ability to say yes or no to things even if we weren’t successful."
Adele’s 25 recently became the biggest-selling album since her last album, 21.
