FFS – the supergroup collaboration of Franz Ferdinand and Sparks - has released a new video for track ‘Johnny Delusional’.
It consists of a dizzying, continuous panning shot of a ring of cheap fold-up chairs, taken from the centre of a circular office meeting, as members of the band take their seats, all clad in identical grey office garb. It could be a nightmare straight from the mind of David Brent.

The video was directed by France's AB/CD/CD, whose previous musical clients include Panda Bear, The Postal Service and Kasabian.
According to Pitchfork, the group said in a statement about its debut video: "The first video for a brand new band sets the tone of how they may be perceived forever and we wanted a video that was mysterious, kinetic, artistic, and, well, made us look good."
The group spoke to Gigwise earlier this month about how serious the new partnership is: “It's not like this is a side-project that we need to get out of our systems then we return to the 'real stuff' - this is the real stuff. We're fully immersed and excited. We don't know where we're going.”
Last month FFS released the (seemingly) ironic single ‘Collaborations Don’t Work’, as well as ‘Piss Off’ earlier this year, and a bizarre teaser video for track ‘The Domino Effect’.
The self-titled debut album from FFS is due for release on 8 June via Domino. For tickets and information, visit here.
