U2 brought a fan into their limelight on Friday (22 May) at their show in Phoenix to play 'In God's Country', watch footage of the performance below.

After requesting the cut from U2's classic 1987 record The Joshua Tree, the unsuspecting fan was invited up on stage to play guitar with the four-piece. Bono spotted the fan and asked: "Do you know the chords to 'In God's Country'?"

The fan, clearly overwhelmed, jumped about frantically on stage hugging each of the members before being handed a guitar. Bono then asked, "can you play it real slow whilst I try and remeber the lyrics?"

The fan sang with Bono on the chorus but seemed to outstay his welcome as he attempted to stay on for another song, leading to the frontman pushing him back into the crowd.
