The BBC has announced that it's scrapping Never Mind The Buzzcocks after 18 years on the air.
The music-themed panel show has been running since November 1996, and was presented by Mark Lamarr, Simon Amstell and, most recently after four years of guest presenters, Rhod Gilbert.
Phill Jupitus has been a team captain on the show, which is known for its dry, irreverent style, since its inception, alongside Sean Hughes, then Bill Bailey and, since 2009, Noel Fielding.

Now, a spokesperson for the BBC has told Broadcast, "After 28 series we've decided not to bring Never Mind The Buzzcocks back to the BBC. This will create space for new entertainment formats in the future. We'd like to thank the team at Talkback, Rhod Gilbert, all the brilliant hosts over the years and of course Noel and Phill for the years of enjoyment they've given BBC Two viewers."
The show's gently mocking attitude towards its guest has earned it thousands of fans - and plenty of walk-offs, over the years. Among the most noteable of these include The Ordinary Boys' Preston (who walked off after Simon Amstell began reading from his then wife Chantelle Houghton's autobiography), Motorhead's Lemmy and Fun Lovin' Criminals' Huey Morgan.
