Fleetwood Mac were forced to reschedule last night's gig at Birmingham Genting Arena, after putting out a statement that they were too ill to play. Will they be fit and ready for this weekend's Isle Of Wight Festival?
The gig last night (June 9) has been rescheduled to the new date of July 7 after the slightly mysterious statement, which didn't reveal which of the members as feeling sick, stated that they'd been forced into postponing the show.
The official statement read: "We are very sorry to announce that due to illness the Fleetwood Mac concert at Birmingham Genting Arena this evening will not take place and has been re-scheduled for Tuesday 7th July 2015."
All tickets remain valid, and fans are urged to return to their point of purchase in order to obtain a refund if needed.
Fleetwood Mac are scheduled to headline this weekend's Isle Of Wight festival alongside Blur, The Prodigy and The Black Keys, in their only festival appearance of the year after their predicted slot at Glastonbury proved to be false.
Just recently, Mick Fleetwood talked about how healthy and happy he was feeling about the band, stating that they'd written a 'sh*tload of new songs' and that he was 'not letting up any' - but Nicks stated she was feeling slightly more jaded by their massive 'On WIth The Show' tour, telling the Mirror of the pressures she is feeling: "I have to look great, I have to feel great.'
Which ever band member is suffering, we must hope that Fleetwood Mac are feeling back on top form in the very near future, then.
All being well, Fleetwood Mac are set to continue their arena tour, full dates are below. For more information and tickets click here.
