As the world mourns the loss of the late, great Prince, Justin Bieber has caused some controversy by speaking out against him being called 'the last of the greatest living performers'.
Tributes have been flooding in from the world of music and beyond after the 'Purple Rain' icon was found dead at his Minnesota home in Paisley Park yesterday, aged 57.
Bieber however, has caused some anger and controversy after disagreeing with a tribute made by musician Andrew Watt - who hailed him as "last of the greatest living performers."
See Watt's tribute below.
Bieber then took to the comments section to disagree:
While he may have a point in not dismissing an entire generation of performers, now may not be the best time to comment on diminishing the hyperbole that surrounds Prince, and many have taken issue:
Half the time Justin Bieber can't be arsed finishing a show so I don't understand his need to comment on Prince. #PrinceRIP

I hope this douchebag Bieber wasn't talking of himself when he said Prince isn't the last greatest performer

Bieber mad over Prince? Seriously, either match what he's done or STFU. Prince didn't have to cater to tweens.

The singer had recently been hospitalised, after a sudden illness forced the plane he was in to make an emergency landing - but he was subsequently released from hospital. He even performed a concert the following day, and assured fans that he was OK and was simply battling the flu. Police then confirmed a fatality at his home yesterday.
