Android users will not be able to use the free version of Apple Music, and will have to pay if they want to use the service.
The service, announced on June 8 by Apple, will surprisingly be available to users on both Apple and its rival company Android's devices - but those on Android devices will not have access to the free version, and will have to purchase one of the paid subscription models if they want to use the service.
The free version, available only to apple users, allows the ability to follow artists and access their feeds via Connect, access to the Beats 1 radio station, and the ability to browse the Apple Music channels, with six skips, whereas the paid version grants access to 30 million songs, with unlimited skips and offline listening.
Apple music is set to go head to head with the UK's primary music streaming service Spotify. An individual subscription to Apple music will cost $9.99 per month, while for $14.99 per month, a family subscription allows up to six people to be registered to one account, and to have their own separate profiles.
Apple Music is set to release later this month on June 30.
