Just days after Foo Fighters were due to perform their hotly-anticipated headline slot at Glastonbury, the band have announced that they'll be resuming touring - with their upcoming US dates to continue as planned this week.
Earlier this month saw frontman Dave Grohl infamously break his leg whilst on stage in Sweden, forcing the band to cancel all upcoming UK and EU dates including Wembley and Glasto - allowing Florence + The Machine to step up and stand in with a triumphant headline slot.
Now, the band have confirmed that they'll be hitting the road again - declaring that they "can't fucking wait" for their next show on Independence Day, 4 July:
Can’t f***ing wait for the 4th!!! See you at home, DC. pic.twitter.com/4gp3vpVOLz

It is hoped that it won't be too long until the Foos return to UK shores. They have already reportedly been booked in to headline Glastonbury next year, as well as being named as bookies' favourites to headline alongside Muse and Oasis.
