After months of anticipation, Apple Music has launched - kicking off with their Beats 1 Radio service, helmed by Zane Lowe.
The service launched last night (Tuesday 30 June), with 'City' by rising Manchester band Spring King - one of the best new bands that you have to check out this summer.
"We spent three months building this radio station and now we can build no more," said Lowe. "This band put this EP out a few months ago... it’s not about fanfare, fireworks and hangover the next day, it’s about quality and consistency... from now on, we’re always on."
The band then took to Twitter to thank Lowe and speak of the honour:
yo @zanelowe are you kidding?!!?!? you just spun our tune! you're an absolute legend!!

Genuinely blown away that Zane Lowe, someone I'd listen to growing up, decided to play Spring King as the opener... http://t.co/T8gyZdy8v1
