Glastonbury Festival has donated scores of discarded wellies to refugees in Calais.

After hundreds were left at the festival site this year and set for the recycling centre, team member Liz Clegg gathered a group of volunteers to check and size the wellies, before transporting over 500 pairs, first aid kits and ponchos across the Channel.

The festival also donated bin bags to another charity, Calais Migrant Solidarity, which assists with rubbish collection around the camp.

This year's Glastonbury festival was headlined by Florence & The Machine, Kanye West and The Who and you can check out our favourite moments.
