Sum 41 have taken to Pledge to crowdfund their new album including some of their 'best songs yet'.
The pop-punks are readying up for another record - their first since 2011's Screaming Bloody Murder and frontman Deryck Whibley's near-death battle with alcoholism.
On their Pledge page they write: "Words can't describe how good it feels to be back, so I'll just let the music do that instead. It's been a crazy few years for all of us in one way or another, but with this much needed break and a new lease of life Sum 41 is back and stronger and more excited than we have been in a long time. It's time to make a f*cking great record!"

Rumours of a new album have been circulating since lead singer, Deryck Whibley, posted on the band's Facebook page about his past issues with alcohol and the current state of the band, teasing: "After 2 years not playing together the band sounded tighter than ever. Had a great time playing the old ones. Tomorrow we work on the new ones!"
