Azealia Banks has unleashed a series of tweets revealing her hatred for Australian crowds, describing them as "violent and belligerent."
The diatribe was instigated by a passive-aggressive tweet from a fan, who wrote, "Hey everyone let's say Congratulations to @AZEALIABANKS for completing her First Ever Full Australian Concert at @SITG. Spewin I missed it."
His back-handed compliment was in reference to the several times Banks has ended sets in Australia early - one of which came just 90 seconds after she'd appeared on stage, when she was hit with a full can of beer.

Banks responded, "Because in all actuality. You guys are terrible crowds to play for. You're violent and belligerent and I simply will not put my safety at risk. I would've walked off stage had someone thrown something."

@brownypaul @SITG plus you guys are too far away and honestly, the show guarantees are never really worth the trip.

Banks also has a long-running dispute with one of Australia's most famous musicians of the moment, Iggy Azalea, whom she refers to as Igloo Australia (amongst other, more foul-mouthed nicknames).
She also previously described Australia as "one of the most notoriously racist countries in the WORLD."
