In a new interview, Radiohead guitarist Jonny Greenwood revealed his current favourite book, album and computer game.
Speaking with The Guardian for the newspaper’s On My Radar feature, the influential musician opened about how he’s been spending his leisure time recently.
Greenwood picked Sun Ra And His Arkestra’s In The Orbit of Ra as his favourite current album, descriving the record as “sound[ing] like music from the future.”
The guitarist and composer chose Clive James’ ‘Poetry Notebook 2006-2014 collection as his favourite book. He spoke fondly of the author. "I owe so much to Clive James. He’s led me to most of my favourite writers and poets – and frankly, he’s given me the further education I missed when I dropped out [of university] at 19."
The musician also noted that he listens to Richard Herring’s Leicster Square theatre podcasts, Evelyn Waugh’s ‘The Sword Of Honour’ audio books and watched movies through the Mubi app. He also said he plays the computer game, ‘The Talos Principle.’
