Courtney Barnett played a surprise gig on the streets of Camden yesterday (17 August), where she was rumoured to be filming a music video for 'Nobody Really Cares If You Don't Go To The Party'. Watch clips and see photos from the pop-up performance below.
The Australian singer posted a "save the date" on Facebook over the weekend. Yesterday morning, she reiterated this - though still without giving away the location. "Nobody really cares if you don't come to our secret party this afternoon at 6pm somewhere in London," she tweeted, before adding, "Except me, I care."
True to her word, at 6pm yesterday she pitched up between the Camden tube station and the Electric Ballroom to perform several tracks from her debut album, Sometimes I Sit And Think And Sometimes I Just Sit.
