The Beatles' first ever record contract, which they signed in 1961, is set to go up for auction next month.
The six-page contract with Polydor was signed while the group were backing British singer Tony Sheridan - who is also part of the contract. The Beatles and Sheridan were signed by German record producer Bert Kaempfert to record a rock'n'roll version of 'My Bonnie Lies Over The Ocean'.

John Lennon signed the document JW Lennon, while Paul McCartney wrote his full name, James Paul McCartney. The only omission from the contract is Ringo Starr, who replaced Pete Best as drummer a year later.
The contract is to be sold by Heritage Auctions in New York next month, and is expected to fetch around $150,000 (£95,700). It's being sold by the estate of Uwe Blaschke, a German graphic designer and Beatles historian, who died in 2010.
Also being sold at the auction is a signed copy of the band's first UK single 'Love Me Do' and a postcard Ringo Starr sent to his mother from Hamburg.
