A teaser trailer has been released for the upcoming adaptation of John Niven's cult novel, Kill Your Friends. Watch it below.

The plot revolves around Steven Stelfox, a hedonistic and cut-throat A&R man, played by Nicholas Hoult as he navigates the treacherous music industry lifestyle at the peak of Britpop doing anything he has to to stay salvage his career.

It looks twisted as hell and should have, at least, a strong script writing staff with original author John Niven on board.

The trailer shows Hoult playing a role out of his previous repertoire with a sly charm and aggresive drive, expect the film to feature copious amount of sex, drugs and the kind of language you don't want your mum hearing.

The film will also feature performances from James Cordon and rising star Craig Roberts of Submarine fame.

The film has been already exclaimed with great praise from the president of Well Go, the production company behind Kill Your Freinds, Doris Pfardrescher exclaimed: "If you loved music in the 90s, and you liked ‘The Player,’ ‘Swimming with Sharks’ and ‘American Psycho,’ it still doesn’t come close to describing how savagely brilliant this movie is. The way it skewers every part of the music industry is outrageous and hysterical."

The movie will also feature songs by Radiohead, The Prodigy, The Chemical Brothers, Oasis and Blur.
