You can stop panicking - One Direction have broken their silence on the split rumours and reassured fans that they are simply taking a break.
In a series of tweets, band members Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson addressed reports that they were breaking up after secret talks were supposedly held in London. In one, Horan insisted: "We still have lots we want to achieve ! Can't wait for you to hear all the new music we have for you and to perform".
Despite their reassurances, demand for tickets on their 'final' tour has swelled, with some selling for double their face value. Their last show for some time is expected to at Sheffield's Motorpoint Arena on 31 October.
Ok so Lots of rumours going round. We are not splitting up, but we will be taking a well earned break at some point next year
