Queens Of The Stone Age's Josh Homme has been added to the cast of forthcoming silent movie Gutterdämmerung, alongside French electronic music duo Justice.

The forthcoming film is being put together by Belgian-Swedish visual artist Bjorn Tagemose, and is being described as "part rock show part immersive cinema experience." It is set to feature the likes of Grace Jones, Iggy Pop, Henry Rollins, Eagles Of Death Metal's Jesse Hughes, Motorhead's Lemmy, and more.

Now, two more massive names have been added to the cast of "the loudest silent movie on earth" - QOTSA's Josh Homme, and Justice's Gaspard Auge and Zavier de Rosnay.

If you're still a little unsure as to what Gutterdämmerung is, this press release might help: "Much in the tradition of classic movies of 1920’s Hollywood, the film is mostly silent but instead of a lone piano a live rock band of rock express the emotions and action whilst special effects from the film explode to life all around the audience.

"Think of a deafening rock ‘n’ roll version of Secret Cinema taking place in hell and you might just begin to have an idea of what Gutterdämmerung is."

Gutterdämmerung is set for release in late 2015 / early 2016.
