Daughter have announced details of their second studio album and a handful of shows, as well as releasing a video for its lead track, ‘Doing The Right Thing’. Watch the video below.
After dropping their acclaimed debut 'If You Leave' back in 2013, the trio will now follow the LP with Not To Disappea through 4AD on 15 January, 2016.
The trio say that the new album "finds the band making confident strides forward both sonically and lyrically".
Lead track 'Doing The Right Thing' has been released ahead of the Not To Disappear’s release, the video being directed by Iain Forsyth & Jane Pollard (the talented filmmakers behind the stunning Nick Cave film 20,000 Days on Earth). The video is beautifully shot and presents the isolation suffered by many elderly individuals throughout the UK.

The creators say that the video “concerns the delicate subject of dementia and its debilitating, all-pervading effect on family." The track itself is swarming with atmosphere and hazy guitar riffs, as well as delicate and beautiful harmonies from Elena Tonra.
Meanwhile, the band have also announced a handful of UK shows for November. Full dates are below. Tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday 2 October. For tickets and more information, visit here.
