Flaming Lips' Wayne Coyne has announced that he and Miley Cyrus are set to play a gig completely naked as part of the video for 'Milky Milky Milk'.
Cyrus has long been comfortable with her own nudity, and is a vocal proponent of the Free The Nipple campaign - which aims to remove the disproportionate taboo around women's bodies.
"It’s not the word breast, the humans aren’t afraid of the human breast," she told Jimmy Kimmel earlier this year, "It’s the nipple that’s the issue. America is actually fine with tits, it’s nipples they don’t like - which is what you have. The nipple that you can’t show - everyone has, but the jug part that everybody doesn't, you're allowed to show underboob. I’ve never understood the way it works."
When Kimmel asked (because it is apparently 1953) how her father felt about the way Cyrus dresses, she said, "My dad's cool because I'm sure he'd maybe rather me not have my tits out all the time, but he'd rather me have my tits out and be a good person than have a shirt on and be a bitch."
Now, Cyrus' friend and collaborator Wayne Coyne has taken to Instagram to reveal that Cyrus "is planning a show where her, the band (us) and the audience are all COMPLETELY naked with milk (well white stuff that looks like milk) being spewed everywhere." The gig will form part of the video for 'Milky Milk Milk', which is one of the many tracks on Cyrus' recent surprise album Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz.
Cyrus previously appeared naked in the video for 'Wrecking Ball', while Coyne did the same in Flaming Lips' 'Watching The Planets'.
