Kicking off her Formation world tour in Miami last night, Beyoncé took a stand against her haters - by selling ‘Boycott Beyoncé’ merchandise.

Bey kicked off her tour with an epic 35 song show - honouring Prince, as well as debuting tracks from her huge surprise new album, Lemonade

According to fan pictures from the show, merchandise carrying the slogan included T-shirts and phone cases, which are available to buy exclusively at her shows. The people taking a stand against the worldwide sensation will not be happy when they realise not only is Beyoncé herself laughing at the ridiculous campaign against her, but even profiting from it.

The movement was likely influenced by the call of the Miami police force to boycott the performers show, refusing to provide security for her sell-out tour. The attempted boycott was discussed following her “anti-police” message after her controversial Formation performance at Super Bowl 50.

Ahead of the claims that the star was entirely anti-police, Beyoncé claimed that "anyone who perceives my message as anti-police is completely mistaken,” before continuing to say "I have so much admiration and respect for officers and the families of officers who sacrifice themselves to keep us safe. But let's be clear: I am against police brutality and injustice. Those are two separate things."

No stranger to merchandise sales, Beyoncé recently released her own line of active wear, Ivy Park, available from retailers Topshop, Nordstorm and Zalando. According to Topshop Australia, Ivy Park is “one of the most successful launches of any brand we have ever had.”

Not only has the multi-talented Queen Bey released her own clothing line, she gave fans yet another surprise release last week – visual album, Lemonade. In addition to covering racial politics through the medium of music, Beyoncé also went on the discuss issues with her father and her supposed marriage troubles.

Billboard reports that the freshly released album is set to become number one, which would make this her sixth No.1 solo album.
