The owners of Bataclan, the Paris concert hall in which more than 100 people were killed by ISIS terrorists on Friday, have issued an official statement in the aftermath of the shooting, after footage emerged of the attack as it broke out.

Eagles Of Death Metal were performing at the venue when it fell under seige at the hands of a number of ISIS gunmen on Friday (13 November). Over 100 people were killed, and simultaneous attacks at the Stade de France and a restaurant brought the total death toll to 129.

Among those confirmed dead were the band's merch seller, Nick Alexander, as well as music journalist Guillaume B Decherf and Mercury Records employee Thomas Ayad.

Now, the owners of the venue have released a statement in response to the attacks. Read a translated version below.

"Dear friends,

No words can express the level of sadness we feel.

Our thoughts go to the victims, to those injured and to their loved ones.

Many of you want to come to the Bataclan, but unfortunately the authorities still need to work on site. We will keep you informed as soon as it’s possible for you to come and mourn in front of the concert hall.

Thank you for your support, which deeply touches us."
