Bring Me The Horizon were “gutted” to hear about the cancellation of the Soundwave Festival yesterday. The festival was cancelled due to “poor ticket sales.”
The Sempiternal band are big fans of the festival, stating that Soundwave was “without a doubt the best touring festival we've ever been a part of." Preventing their alligator blood from boiling, they’re "working on our own headline tour to bring to you lot down under for sometime next year” as a commiseration.
The ‘Shadow Moses’ rockers full statement read, “"We're gutted to hear the news Soundwave Festival has been cancelled. Soundwave was without a doubt the best touring festival we've ever been a part of and we are sad to see it go. For anyone hoping to catch us we are sorry, but don't fret - we are working on our own headline tour to bring to you lot down under for sometime next year. It's going to be a special one, so we will see you there!"
The band is set to play a bunch of European gigs next year, including a gig at the Royal Albert Hall on 22 April.
8 April – Alcatraz, Milan, Italy
10 April – La Riviera, Madrid, Spain
