Eminem’s iconic 1999 song ‘My Name Is’ has been given a new spin by the Muppets in 2015. Kermit and the rest of the gang feature in a hilarious video where they cover a seminal track from the ‘Rap God’ and his Slim Shady LP.

Isthishowyougoviral have become well known for their ridiculous and cleverly edited Muppets covers of songs from the likes of The Beasty Boys, Daft Punk and Miley Cyrus, but they usually focus on hip-hop. This Eminem installment is certainly no exception to the rule.

Scooter plays Mr Marshal Mathers throughout the video, while Kermit takes on the important role of his mentor and the guy who put him on, Dr Dre. It’s a pretty great little video and well worth a few minutes of your time if your funny bones are in desperate need of some tickling. The video features most of the costumes from the original video and even manages to include the awesome circus scene. Enjoy.

The Muppets are making waves at the moment, with Miss Piggy doing an incredible version of Adele's 'Hello' and Dave Grohl soon taking on Animal in televised drum off. Eminem also made headlines this month by choosing to make a strange but solid financial investment in his own lyrics.
