Anyone thinking they’d have to wait another week before hearing new material from Kendrick Lamar have been wrong-footed with the release of the video for ‘Humble’.
The track comes just seven days after the release of ‘The Heart Part 4’ after which we were told, “Y’all got till April 7th to get y’all shit together.” Given that the video for ‘Humble’ has already notched up over 3m views, it’s safe to the say that this one is highly anticipated.
And rightly so, for what we have here is Kendrick in papal-style regalia, feasting at what looks like the Last Supper, hitting golf balls off a car and rapping with his head on fire. Like you do.
